What Will You Experience?

Prepare for an immersive expedition to the jewel of the Osa Peninsula. We will travel by boat early from the coast into the virgin jungle. You will hike along dense primary trails (San Pedrillo or Sirena Station) accompanied by expert local biologists and guides with an incredible eye for spotting wildlife.

Corcovado is home to 2.5% of the world’s biodiversity. You may spot Costa Rica’s four monkey species, tapirs, anteaters, crocodiles, colorful macaws, and, if the jungle rewards us, perhaps even the tracks of a puma or jaguar. It is nature in its purest and wildest state.

Full Day (Over 8-hour expedition).

Medium (Long hikes in humid and intensely hot conditions).

Transportation:

Speedboat (Approx. 1.5h sea journey).

Bilingual naturalist guides (Spanish / English).

What to Bring?

      • 🎒 Comfortable hiking shoes (may get muddy or wet).

      • 🎒 Quick-drying, breathable clothing in neutral colors.

      • 🎒 Plenty of water in reusable bottles and a strong repellent.

      • 🎒 Host Tip: Corcovado has very strict daily entry quotas. We recommend booking weeks in advance. Bring dry bags to protect your phone and camera during the boat trip and potential rain.

Itinerary:

    • 06:30 AM: Boat departure (a spectacular scenic coastal journey).

    • 08:00 AM: Arrival at the Park Station (wet landing on the beach).

    • 08:30 AM: Immersive 3 to 4-hour hike along trails tracking wildlife.

    • 12:30 PM: Rest and lunch at the ranger station.

    • 02:00 PM: Boarding and return journey sailing back to Bahía Ballena.
