Discover one of the most impressive and spectacular waterfalls in Costa Rica. A movie-like setting.
What will you experience?
Hidden in a deep canyon of pure jungle, these two-tiered waterfalls cascade majestically, forming an enormous natural pool at their base. You can choose how to get there: walking at your own pace along the nature-surrounded trail, booking a horseback ride, or going up in a 4×4 vehicle.
Once there, you can swim in the refreshing waters, relax on the enormous rocks while sunbathing, take spectacular photos of the upper tier, and feel the force of the cool mist from the water falling from over 40 meters high.

Half day or full day at your own pace.

Intermediate (If you choose the 4km hike each way under the sun).

Route toward Dominical (Approx. 20 min by car from Uvita).

🎒 Comfortable walking shoes or hiking shoes.

🎒 Host tip: Try to arrive very early (8:00 AM). The weather is cooler for walking, you’ll have better light for photos, and you’ll avoid the midday crowds.

Itinerary:

- 08:00 AM: Arrival at the main office, ticket purchase, and start of the trail.

09:30 AM: Arrival at the lower waterfall level for the first swim.

10:30 AM: Visit to the upper level to appreciate the main cascade.

11:00 AM: Hike back to the entrance.
