If kayaking is not for you but you still want to explore this vital ecosystem, this tour in a highly comfortable covered boat is perfect for you. We will navigate the wide and mystical canals of the Sierpe River, flanked by massive mangrove trees that sink their intricate roots into the water.
The captain and your naturalist guide have “eagle eyes” for spotting the incredible local wildlife. You will be able to see large American crocodiles sunbathing on the banks, families of howler and white-faced monkeys leaping through the canopy, and a vast array of aquatic birds. Ideal for the whole family and for taking spectacular photographs without any physical effort!

🎒 Host tip: This tour is one of the most relaxing ones we offer. It is ideal to schedule on a rest day between more extreme tours like rafting or the Corcovado hike.
Itinerary:
- 8:30 AM: Arrival at the pier, boarding the covered boat, and welcome.
9:00 AM: Slow-speed navigation through the giant root canals.
10:30 AM: Floating stop with the engine off to observe monkeys, crocodiles, and birds in silence.
11:30 AM: Scenic return to the main pier.
